How do I get to and from the venue?
On the day of our wedding, we will provide shuttles to and from the towns of Castine (30–45 minutes from the venue) and Blue Hill (20 minutes away from the venue). We will share the shuttle schedule over email closer to the date.
If you'd prefer to drive yourself, there will be parking at the venue - we encourage carpooling!
How do I get to and from the welcome party?
You are responsible for your own transportation to and from Tinder Hearth on Friday evening. There is a small parking lot, and we strongly encourage carpooling.
Will the welcome party serve dinner?
Yes! Wood-fired pizza dinner, fresh garden salad and drinks on us - come hungry!
Why Maine?
By chance, Maine is a region where we both spent parts of our childhoods vacationing and where where so many of our meaningful memories now live. Annual summer trips to this region and visits to see the Tucker family have become a favorite tradition of ours—we are so excited to be hosting our wedding at the Tucker’s home and to share this special place in the world with all of you this coming September!
Can I bring my kids?
Kiddos are welcome at pizza night on Friday evening!
For the wedding day itself, we’ve chosen to make it an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives folks the chance to enjoy a special date night!
A few exceptions have been made (and we’ve already been in touch directly) — thank you for understanding!
What is there to do in the area?
Our full list of recommendations is here on our things to do page.
Who drew the illustrations?
The illustrations on our invitations (and in the footer of our website) were designed and drawn by Jack Confrey, Chris’s best man! The dancing figures were created by an illustrator on Etsy.
We are really excited to share even more art and music from our talented friends at our wedding!
